Mopar Build Sheet by VIN

Free factory build sheet by VIN for Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge & RAM.

MoparVinEquipment.com is a free tool to pull a vehicle's factory build sheet by VIN — the sales codes, packages, trim, and equipment it was assembled with — for Mopar / CDJR brands: Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, and RAM.

What is a Mopar build sheet?

A build sheet is the factory's own record of how a specific vehicle was assembled. For Mopar / CDJR vehicles it lists the sales codes, option packages, trim, drivetrain, paint, and equipment the vehicle left the plant with.

It's the most reliable way to confirm how a used Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, or RAM was originally configured — far more dependable than a badge, a trim name, or a seller's description.

What the build sheet shows

The build sheet ties each factory sales code to the package or option it represents — appearance groups, trailering and towing equipment, axle ratios, interior materials, audio and technology, and safety features.

One package name can include several smaller features, so reading the build sheet carefully tells you what the vehicle actually carries, not just what the trim badge implies.

Standard vs. optional equipment

Standard equipment follows the trim or model; optional equipment reflects choices made when the vehicle was ordered. A build sheet makes the difference clear, which matters when two trucks or SUVs with the same model name feel very different in practice.

It also helps separate factory equipment from anything a dealer or previous owner added afterward — wheels, audio, badges, and accessories may have changed since delivery.

Where to find your VIN

Your VIN is a unique 17-character code. You can read it from any of these places — each gives the same number:

  • Base of the windshield, driver's side. Look at the lower-left corner of the glass from outside.
  • Driver's door-jamb sticker. Open the driver's door and check the frame.
  • Registration, insurance card, and title. Every ownership document carries the VIN.

Which vehicles are supported

The lookup covers the Mopar / CDJR family — Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, and RAM. Enter the VIN and the tool retrieves the factory build sheet for that vehicle.

Coverage depends on the factory record being on file. There's no account, nothing to install, and every lookup is free.

How to look up your Mopar build sheet

Find your 17-character VIN, type it into the box at the top of this page, and select "Look Up Build Sheet."

The tool retrieves the factory build sheet — usually within a few seconds — and shows it inline. If no build sheet is on file for that VIN, you'll see a short message instead.
